This blog evolved out of my work at Nothing Original Here, where I wrote some excellent interviews, reviews and personal essays, including profiles of acclaimed choreographer Elizabeth Streb, writer/performance artist Deb Margolin and photojournalist Mel Rosenthal. I also blog regularly at under30ceo.com, modernlifeblogs.com, eventwist.com and lizkingevents.com.
Here I’ll continue to write about love, loss, art, life and inspiration and interview creative people who make my heart beat faster.
I’m in the process of starting my own content branding firm, Project Mavens – more info coming soon. Feel free to contact me in the meantime if you’re interested in discussing any project related to the arts, sustainability, advocacy, or charitable organizations.
Deborah, I ran across your fucking excellent work at Fictionaut recently. I’m the editor a zine called Negative Suck (there’s an FNaut group too), so maybe you can check it out at http://www.negativesuck.com and see what you think. I’m always looking for new writers. My email is strongmannow@gmail.com
Hoping to connect,
Jeff
Hey Jeff,
Thanks for starting my day off on a high note!
I’ll definitely be in touch…
D
So good to know! Looking forward to it
Me too…
Hi Deborah,
I love reading your articles on Under 30 CEO. I recently launched a social gifting website, GiftHit, that lets friends send each other real gifts from local places that are delivered by Facebook wallpost, email, or text. We are basically one-upping gift cards because although they are nice, it’s so much cooler to send a friend a margarita or manicure by wallpost. We have been getting some press recently and are really excited for our launch party in Soho on October 4th which will benefit Urban Arts Partnership an amazing charity that promotes education through arts. Please join us for the event, we would really be honored to have you there! You can view the invitation at http://www.gifthitlaunch.eventbrite.com
Hope to see you there,
Arielle
Thanks Arielle!
I’ll see if I can make it, and happy to spread the word!
Deborah,
Not even sure how I got here but lucky for me I did.
You are doing such interesting work. I’ll also be curious to see what comes of Project Mavens.
Happy to follow.
Tom
Thanks Tom, for the follow. I really appreciate the early support! Looking forward to seeing what comes of your work, as well…
